For over 25 years Chisenhale Dance Space has been a seedbed for research and development in movement arts and independent dance. Based in London, they are a unique artist-driven organisation that offers project support for body-based work of all kinds, by diverse artists from all communities, investigating new areas in their own practice.

Dance 4
Dance 4 are an internationally recognised, experimental dance organisation.
A unique voice in the UK dance sector, their work supports artists and
practitioners who are interested in the development of dance within
performance and learning environments. As experienced programmers in the field of experimental dance and performance, their artistic team support and present artists who are interested in challenging boundaries. As a result they present and support some of the most exciting and innovative work currently being developed.

Dance Web Europe & Culture 2000
This initiative is intended for emerging European choreographers and dancers with the aim to improve their production conditions and to foster cultural diversity within Europe by supporting multinational projects.

Dance Umbrella
Dance Umbrella was founded in 1978 with the aim of reflecting
and encouraging the burgeoning interest in contemporary dance in Britain. From modest beginnings as a showcase for emerging choreographers, Dance Umbrella's annual London festival now ranks highly among Europe's leading international dance festivals and the organisation is recognised as one of Britain's most adventurous dance promoters presenting an annual festival.

Derby Dance
Derby Dance is the only dedicated dance house in the East Midlands, providing training, professional development for artists, an extensive community development programme and dance performances at DEDA Theatre.

The Jerwood Space
The Jerwood Space supports artists through the provision of subsidised space.

Laban
Bringing together students, choreographers, designers, writers, researchers, artists, theatre practitioners and musicians from around the world, Laban is one of the leading institutes for the development of the art form of contemporary dance.

The Place
The Place is the UK's premier centre for contemporary dance, uniting training, creation and performance in one building. Working with dancers from age 5 upwards, The Place brings new talent into the dance profession and guides artists through their careers.


Robin Howard Foundation

Royal Opera House / ROH2
The ROH2 are part of the Royal Opera House, nurtering new artists from the wider fields of contemporary dance through their development and support schemes and programming at the smaller scale stages within the Royal Opera House.

Southbank Centre
Southbank Centre's wide-ranging programme: classical & world music, rock & pop, jazz, dance, literature and the visual arts - attracts the most diverse audience of any UK venue. Stephanie Schober has been Artist in Residence in 2003 and 2004. Since then The Purcell Room has become a regular platform for her performances. "The South Bank would never win a beauty pageant, but its dance programme deserves a few prizes. It's a clever mix of mid-scale visiting troupes, ingenious family events and interesting indie acts you wouldn't normally see in Central London."
